Piola was one of 15 projects chosen to the finals of the Re:Vision DESIGN Award 2010

Re:Vision DESIGN Award is organized by Modern Painters magazine and Louise Blouin Media in New York. The Re:Vision Design Awards challenges emerging designers of all stripes to revisit, rethink and reimagine how we live in our homes. The jury included Ross Lovegrove, Renny Ramakers (co-founder, Droog), David Mcfadden (chief curator, Museum of Arts and Design), Rosanne Somerson (professor, RISD) and Cristina Grajales (modern and contemporary furniture dealer, NYC).

Designeast Collective at Passagen 2010 Cologne-Germany

During the Cologne Design Week 2010 we have presented our first group exhibition in Designeast Collective Gallery/Shop in Ehrenfeld. The exhibition featured heterogeneous designs by Matěj Chabera (CZ), Martin ampach (CZ) and studio Piola (CZ+D) .

First projects were presented on prestigious selective design exhibition Designblok in Prague.

Piola passed a week of brainstorming in the summer workshop. These days of hard work and light entertainment laid the foundations of series of new products.
